Job Description
Your mission
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical WEEE Compliance Manager to oversee product recycling compliance, reporting, and regulatory adherence across multiple countries. This role is heavily focused on data analysis, reporting, and documentation, requiring a strong grasp of regulatory frameworks, Excel expertise, and the ability to translate compliance requirements into structured processes.
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation- Monitor and interpret WEEE regulations across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with evolving legal requirements.
- Translate regulatory obligations into actionable processes, templates, and Excel sheets for internal teams.
- Manage contracts and compliance documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal frameworks.
- Work with PV Cycle and other centralized partners to navigate country-specific recycling policies.
Data & Reporting (80% of Role)- Manage large-scale data reporting related to WEEE, battery, and packaging compliance.
- Collect and validate data from internal stakeholders, ensuring reports are accurate and complete.
- Conduct monthly and yearly compliance reporting, aligning with internal stakeholders and external compliance schemes.
- Interface with Logistics and Sales teams to gather required compliance data.
Process Optimization & Internal Collaboration- Work with internal teams to ensure that compliance data flows smoothly once contracts are signed.
- Develop and improve Excel-based tracking systems for compliance reporting.
- Act as an internal advisor on red tape and regulatory questions, supporting teams in different regions.
- Collaborate with the company’s China-based recycling initiatives to support leadership in sustainable product disposal.
Your profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Analytics and/or Environmental Science, Chemistry, or Sustainability or equivalent work experience in compliance, data analysis, or regulatory reporting
- Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, data validation, formulas, automation).
- Experience handling large datasets and compliance reporting.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (WEEE, battery, packaging compliance).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate reporting.
