Equipment Qualification and Validation Engineer

As an Equipment Qualification and Validation engineer, you will be working together with a driven service team to perform qualification and validation actions for the lab equipment in R&D. The focus will be on Chromatographic lab equipment (Liquid chromatography, LC-MS, GC, GC-MS) but also on other equipment (Karel Fisher, XRD, balances, IR, …)

Responsibilities:

• Execution and follow up of periodic testing (including testing with regard to repairs, retirements and changes) and small changes activities for operational lab instruments in cooperation with the key user and instrument supplier, if applicable, including data review.
• Execution of functional testing in support of new equipment qualification.
• Planning and follow up of all lab instruments within the labs.
• Provide input for the lab instrument real time inventory and validation plan (VMP) updates and revisions (inventory, qualification status and additional information as required).
• Support the troubleshooting process for testing activities or qualification related incidents, defects or other problems in order to assure the continued operation of the lab instrument.
