The IT Specialist will be responsible of ensuring quality and timely delivery of IT services by acting as liaison between the business and various IT Stakeholders (which may include dealing with IT Service Providers); the person will also be responsible for the day-to-day relationship with key business owners and working with different IT Teams in the delivery of world-class service.

Consequently, the role is also to provide some hands-on having end-user support and administrative and operations support responsibilities; and will also involve strategic and leadership position to handle coordination of the strategy across all of IT Support and ensure disciplined approaches to meet strong professional standards.

  • Maintain and manage effective relationships with multiple third-party suppliers. Serve as the primary point of escalation for incident and change requests, ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) are met and that supplier performance aligns with business needs.
  • Communicate and be the focal point for the dissemination of information from senior management to the team and vice versa.
  • Proactively inform Infrastructure teams about supplier shortages and performance issues affecting the supply chain, advocating for timely resolutions.
  • Oversee on-site IT support and office-level projects, and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IT-related projects within the organization, ensuring that all tech needs are addressed effectively.
  • Troubleshoot areas of IT poor performance and identify effective solutions to resolve issues both in the immediate future and for the longer term.
  • Ensure escalated issues are addressed according to corporate policies and procedures. Collaborate across departments and escalate matters to the appropriate leadership levels when necessary.
  • Coordinate support, troubleshooting, and repair efforts for IT equipment, software, and tools, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Establishes relationships with technology vendors to leverage resources and support for the organization’s IT needs.
