Industrial Apprentice

Exponential Power is a leader in the DC sales and service industry. We are currently looking for industrial installation apprentices to cover installation projects in the Gulf south region.  Industrial Apprentices are responsible for the installation of equipment such as batteries, rectifiers and associated equipment used in the Utility and Telecommunications networks. The work will involve the installation of batteries, rectifiers, BDFBs, alarms and cabling, equipment in cell sites and utility facilities.

REQUIREMENTS:

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Specific industry standards (UL, CSA, ISO) Good attitude and work ethic Past work experience in DC power for the cellular or utility industry a plus Mechanical ability based on past work historyAbility to work on ladders up to 15ft., demonstrated manual dexterity, and lift and carry loads up to 60 lbs Work well within a team demonstrating leadership abilities Have satisfactory written/reading communication skills as well as good customer service skillsBe adaptable to changing environments Valid driver’s license with safe driving record. Plus ability to drive company truck High school diploma or GED, technical degree preferred
