We also manage the tools, processes and governance used for analytics and reporting at Bruce Power.The Integration Developer (Senior Information Systems Analyst) is responsible for developing branch information management strategies, procedures, policies, and guidelines, as well as providing advice on their interpretation and monitoring proposals. They collaborate with users to identify application opportunities and offer business, systems, and technical expertise on specific information management development projects. Additionally, they plan, coordinate, design, develop, implement, operate, and maintain branch information systems. They also assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering training courses and education in information systems.This is a permanent, full-time position which offers a competitive benefits, compensation and pension package and is located on site in Tiverton, Ontario.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE).</li><li>Analyze business requirements and translate them into integration solutions that align with organizational goals.</li><li>Build and manage integration flows, message transformations, and data mappings using ACE.</li><li>Integrate various applications, services, databases, and APIs using IBM ACE and related technologies.</li><li>Ensure high availability and performance of integration solutions by implementing best practices.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integration flows and middleware environments.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, solution architects, and project managers, to deliver robust integration solutions.</li><li>Implement security protocols and adhere to compliance requirements for data integration processes.</li><li>Document technical designs, development procedures, and user guides.</li><li>Stay updated with the latest developments in IBM ACE and related integration technologies.</li></ul>Specific Accountabilities:<ul><li>Establish standards to assist the Manager in the development of an integrated and/or interfaced information management framework.</li><li>Work with users, line unit support staff, consultants and vendors to identify opportunities for new applications or enhancements.</li><li>On assigned projects, work with a senior project leader in planning, coordinating, designing, developing, implementing, operating and maintaining department information. Frequently act as the team leader.</li><li>Provide a minimum set of standard and supported applications, operating systems and communications protocols.</li><li>Assist the Manager in reviewing and providing assessments of the department system proposals and monitoring of their implementation and operation.</li><li>Under the guidance of the Manager, provide a consulting service related to the computing (hardware and software) systems and information technology needs of the department. Define the problem areas and develop alternative approaches for solution and their effect upon related aspects of the department and line units' budgets. Provide data, advice and support to management and staff within the division.</li><li>Prepare and make presentations on all aspects of systems development.
