Parameta Solutions is the Data & Analytics division of TP ICAP Group. The business provides clients with unbiased OTC content and proprietary data, in-depth insights across price discovery, risk management, benchmark and indices, and pre- and post-trade analytics. Its post-trade solutions offering helps market participants control their counterparty and regulatory risks through a growing range of tools that manage balance-sheet exposure, as well as compression and optimisation services. The Data & Analytics division includes the following brands: Tullett Prebon Information, PVM Data Services, ICAP Information and Burton-Taylor Consulting.
Role Overview
The Head of Human Resources (HR) for Parameta Solutions is a critical role within the Parameta Solutions business and integral to the development of the business. A key member of the HR team working closely with the HR centres of excellence and the global HR team whilst partnering with the senior Parameta Solutions management team and stakeholders to help drive the delivery of the people strategy, implement change and transformation of the business through people focused initiatives. The role requires a combination of strategic planning, leadership and people advisory skills.
Support the delivery of the people strategy to enable Parameta Solutions to achieve the strategic vision and objectives.
Senior advisor to senior management on people related programmes.
Responsible for end to end delivery of HR services for the Parameta division
Role Responsibilities
Discuss, challenge and agree resource requirements with senior leadership to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Driving a curious and collaborative culture and identifying and shaping Parameta Solutions core values
Foster a diverse and supportive culture.
Support cultural and technological changes.
Ensure Parameta Solutions understand their people challenges and coach on appropriate interventions
Advise and support Parameta Solutions on organisational design, departmental restructures and change management activities.
Talent centric approach – ensuring the growth and development of our employees is at the heart of our culture.
Identify and manage the talent profile within Parameta Solutions including, individual and departmental training needs.
Work with senior management to plan for succession and identify values, behaviours and skills for future leaders.
Provide clear advice on all aspects of employment law issues dealing with involuntary terminations; redundancy processes and settlement agreements.
Support, develop and coach management on performance management issues and dispute resolutions offering guidance with a view to resolve matters informally and initiating formal Performance Improvement Plans, when required.
Seek to improve the data quality and use across Parameta Solutions, using data to support key HR initiatives and to build effective processes and control framework.
Working in partnership and the business to complete due diligence on contractual terms and challenging commercial decisions.
Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to identify potential resourcing solutions.
Coordinate the execution to support the annual performance and bonus processes leveraging support of COE teams
Establish the newly defined sales commission plan structure and integrate it within the business, in collaboration with the reward team.
Experience / Competences
Essential
An experienced Head of HR Advisory or Senior HR Business Partner who has worked in a fast-paced business, with broad HR experience in Financial Services.
Experience in either Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), start-up organisations or leading signification transition.
Collaborative individual with previous experience in developing teams.
Ability to build strong relationships at all levels within the organisation.
Experience of progressing and leading a HR function including processes and procedures. Has previously demonstrated strategic HR leadership combined with strong operational ability.
Extensive experience in change management and shown ability to positively influence business decisions.
Adaptive and experience change partner who can examine “the way we do things around here” and propose changes.
Natural collaborator – works effectively across the network, builds and maintains strong stakeholder support.
Shows persistence and determination to move ahead in the face of overt resistance without irreparable damage to relationships.
Willing to roll up sleeves and take a very hands on approach.
High level knowledge of remuneration and compensation metrics with experience in managing organisation wide compensation plans being a plus.
Passionate, enthusiastic and driven, bringing significant energy and excitement to the leadership team along with commitment to the journey.
Outstanding commercial acumen and an appreciation of the influence and contribution that talent/leadership can have on business performance.
Unflappable and at the same time able to demonstrate empathy, will have “seen it all before”.
