Responsibilities:

  • Participate and collaborate in the implementation and transition of the payroll activities to our SSC to provide payroll services to other Freudenberg Business Groups. 
  • Lead payroll team to ensure accurate and timely execution of payroll processes for all (direct and indirect) employees, including payroll calculations, deductions, benefit, etc.
  • Prepare and reconcile internal payroll data and reports, ensuring compliance with local tax authorities and customers’ requirements.
  • Stay informed of relevant local regulatory requirements and policies changes.
  • Work cross-functionally to provide expertise and payroll matters in the region supported.
  • Assist with internal and external payroll audits.
  • Support other projects and ad-hoc activities.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of payroll and HR experience with relevant experience leading payroll projects and teams

  • Strong working knowledge of payroll regulations and policies for Mexico

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines timely and accurately.

  • Strong verbal and written skills to handle clients and different stakeholders and payroll team.

  • Advance knowledge of payroll software solutions and managing technology and external payroll providers.

  • Experience implementing new payroll departments and industry-recognized payroll solution.

  • English skills of 90% (oral, written & comprehension)

  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)

  • Strong Customer service orientation, proactive, working with minimal supervision and results oriented.

  • Comfortable in a fast pace and highly automated environment and ability to drive continuous process improvements.

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
