Responsibilities / Tasks

As a Domain Expert Material Master Data (f/m/d/x), you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate, complete, and consistent master data across all systems. Your expertise will empower data-driven decision-making, strengthen our data governance strategy, and contribute to the digital transformation of our organization. You will collaborate with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and leadership to define standards, enhance data quality, and drive continuous improvement in master data management.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Data Governance & Quality

  • Develop and implement data governance policies to maintain high-quality master data.

  • Define customer master data fields and quality rules in collaboration with business units.

  • Ensure consistency and alignment of master data rules across the organization.

  • Monitor and improve data quality, performing regular audits and resolving discrepancies.

  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the go-to expert for master data management, providing guidance and support

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive data initiatives and ensure data consistency.

  • Support divisional stakeholders in implementing and following master data policies.

Training & Documentation

  • Train teams on best practices for data entry, maintenance, and governance

  • Develop and maintain master data management documentation and process guidelines.

Analysis & Innovation

  • Analyze data trends, generate reports, and provide insights for data-driven decision-making.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance processes and technologies.

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Deep expertise in data structures, governance frameworks (MDM, Data Quality, Data Governance), and integration processes.

  • Strong understanding of technology architecture and its application in data management.

  • Process-oriented mindset with the ability to implement and manage workflows effectively.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to train and support users.

  • Ability to collaborate across divisions and teams, ensuring adherence to data standards.
