As a Domain Expert Material Master Data (f/m/d/x), you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate, complete, and consistent master data across all systems. Your expertise will empower data-driven decision-making, strengthen our data governance strategy, and contribute to the digital transformation of our organization. You will collaborate with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and leadership to define standards, enhance data quality, and drive continuous improvement in master data management.
Your Key Responsibilities
Data Governance & Quality
Develop and implement data governance policies to maintain high-quality master data.
Define customer master data fields and quality rules in collaboration with business units.
Ensure consistency and alignment of master data rules across the organization.
Monitor and improve data quality, performing regular audits and resolving discrepancies.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the go-to expert for master data management, providing guidance and support
Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive data initiatives and ensure data consistency.
Support divisional stakeholders in implementing and following master data policies.
Training & Documentation
Train teams on best practices for data entry, maintenance, and governance
Develop and maintain master data management documentation and process guidelines.
Analysis & Innovation
Analyze data trends, generate reports, and provide insights for data-driven decision-making.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance processes and technologies.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Deep expertise in data structures, governance frameworks (MDM, Data Quality, Data Governance), and integration processes.
Strong understanding of technology architecture and its application in data management.
Process-oriented mindset with the ability to implement and manage workflows effectively.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to train and support users.
Ability to collaborate across divisions and teams, ensuring adherence to data standards.
