Job Description

Voltus is looking for a Marketing Operations Analyst with a passion for delivering Better Energy and More Cash to our prospective customers. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Operations Analyst is a data-driven problem solver with a strong ability to understand every step of the customer's lifecycle. Our Marketing team is responsible for driving demand and building the Voltus brand globally. They are a close, high-performing team that holds each other accountable for the work they do.As the Marketing Operations Analyst, you will administer our MarTech stack (including; Salesforce, Hubspot, Mixpanel, and GA), technical implementations, and the measurement and reporting on marketing campaigns and activities. Your execution of marketing technology best practices should deliver a consistent user experience throughout the customer journey with continual optimization for improved results. This a remote role.----

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze performance through an account-based lens and show how our key personas are engaging through the journey.
  • Work alongside our Product Marketing, Field Marketing, and Sales Ops teams to drive lead generation.
  • Manage the MarTech stack to ensure we are collecting the right data and tracking attribution.
  • Build and maintain performance dashboards to keep key stakeholders up to date on key marketing and sales trends.
  • Analyze the performance of campaigns and strategic marketing activities and identify key drivers of performance and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work with Sales Ops team to qualify and score leads, and ensure a successful hand-off process to the Sales team.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert within marketing related to analytics and technologies to improve the process and performance measurements.
  • Lead the implementation, design, or reconfiguration of technologies used by the marketing team.
  • Monitor data hygiene and perform ongoing data cleansing and system optimization to maintain the health and accuracy of our marketing systems and reporting infrastructure.
  • Analyze our channel performance for insights that improve ROI.
  • Set up performance metrics that align with the company and departmental goals
  • Interact with key vendors in our best-of-breed MarTech stack

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on knowledge of Salesforce, Hubspot, and Mixpanel.
  • Experience in managing technology – preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Experience with digital advertising channels (PPC, social ads, display, etc.)
  • Experience managing web analytics platforms like Google Analytics.
  • Relentless problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to extract the story and insights from the data and effectively communicate the insights to the team.
  • Perpetually learning new tech and frameworks, and willing to invent your own.
  • You’re more technical/analytical than creative, but we welcome unicorns that do both well.
  • Preferred technical skills: HTML, SQL, and visualization BI tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, CIS, or transferable experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • BS/BA, MBA preferred.
