Enphase is also one of the most successful and innovative clean energy companies in the world, with more than 80 million products shipped across 160 countries.</div><div><br>Join our dynamic teams designing and developing next-gen energy technologies and help drive a sustainable future!</div><div><p>Must be available to work on-site at our Bangalore office <strong>5 days per week</strong>.</p></div></div></div><div><div>About the role</div><div>As a Staff Mechanical Engineer, you will be applying your in-depth knowledge and experience in electro-mechanical product development to the detail design and development of products that use polymers, metals and rubbers and which closely interface with PCBs and high-power electrical components. You will be working closely with team members across our global development team, so your spoken and written communication needs to be clear and effective in order to be able to present your ideas, your concepts and your feedback. You will be problem-solving on new product development, identifying and resolving root causes of field failures and implementing effective cost reduction opportunities. </div></div><div> </div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>What you will be doing</div><ul><li><div>Designing (70%) &amp; testing (30%) of new components and products, sometimes as sole contributor but often as part of a team of contributors</div></li><li><div>Manage assigned mechanical design projects, adhering to project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards</div></li><li><div>Perform day-to-day CAD (3D &amp; 2D) activities and documentation</div></li><li><div>Conduct periodic design review with mechanical teams &amp; cross functional teams</div></li><li><div>Reviewing and analyzing solutions to achieve the best outcome for performance/cost/schedule</div></li><li><div>Product testing (DVT) &amp; Testing proof-of-concepts and prototypes for performance</div></li><li><div>Failure analysis and root cause identification</div></li><li><div>Component review and approval, including global travel to be on-site at vendors during pre- production stage</div></li><li><div>Generating own (and reviewing others’) documentation, including concept proposals, analysis reports, component specifications, review minutes</div></li><li><div>Ensure quality by design</div></li><li><div>Product testing (DVT) &amp; Testing proof-of-concepts and prototypes for performance</div></li><li><div>Design and execute comprehensive test plans (Inhouse and external lab) to verify mechanical performance against design specifications, including static and dynamic loading, fatigue testing, environmental testing, and reliability testing</div></li><li><div>Analyze test data, identify potential issues, and implement design improvements to address any deficiencies</div></li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div>
