The Junior Full Stack Developer will support key activities in the Applications Development area and report to the Software Developer Manager. The primary focus will be to contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of internal tools, with a primary emphasis on the customization and optimization of the NetSuite platform. The role requires experience with both front-end and back-end technologies, ensuring smooth integration and functionality. The developer will play a key role in enhancing and scaling core business applications using JavaScript and the Vue.js framework.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities include:

 

  • Contribute to the design, architecture, and development of new features for our core system, NetSuite.
  • Refactor existing code and adapt solutions with best practices, maintaining code quality and enhancing overall system performance.
  • Build and maintain clean, efficient, and scalable front-end code, mostly using Vue.js along with modern front-end technologies to create high-performance user interfaces.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across devices.
  • Write reusable, testable, and maintainable components.
  • Integrate APIs and new technologies to ensure seamless functionality across both front-end and back-end systems, enhancing software capabilities, streamlining processes.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance of the platform, ensuring bug fixes, system updates, and performance improvements are consistently applied.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices across both front-end and back-end development, ensuring continuous improvement in your full-stack development skills.

Must-have:

 

  • Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science Engineering (or similar) [1].
  • Excellent written and spoken English (C1).
  • Strong expertise in front-end technologies, particularly Vue.js, other front-end languages will be considered.
  • Understanding of back-end development languages and experience with JavaScript.
  • Experience developing and consuming APIs and working with Git.
  • A motivation to work in fast-moving, innovative, and sometimes ambiguous environments.
  • Team player who can work independently.
  • Organized and structured, pro-active and hands-on.
  • A positive and can-do mindset.

     

    Nice-to-have:

     

    • Fluency in any additional EU languages.

    Kindly note that this is a permanent and full-time position, and it is based in Barcelona.


    Possibility to work from home 2 days a week.
