Responsibilities:

• Manage all sourcing activities and processes for the site Hopkinsville and to reduce the total cost of ownership while increasing overall value.  Includes Company negotiation Leadership with Suppliers on Contracts, Payment Terms, Pricing, Quality and Delivery requirements.
• Support to develop and implement strategies that meet and support the business objectives (i.e. commodity and supplier strategies)
• Engage the supply base and internal partners to identify and implement supply optimization strategies and cost reduction initiatives.
• Provide procurement oversight and support to all functional areas, ensuring procurement representation and participation in all issues related to meeting business requirements
• Analyze market trends and report strategic opportunities and risks and then communicate action plans to management
• Manage requests regarding various orders, parts, delivery dates, vendor changes, availability status, requesting expedites
• Support resolving issues related to quality, cost, delivery to Mitigate supply risk
• Implements a continuous improvement culture by benchmarking with other FFT and Freudenberg entities, documented standard processes and procedures and has an openness for input from others
• Develop and implement supplier rating system to track continuous improvement, support quality certification requirements (IATF 16949 and ISO9001)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain and/ or related area required
• Strategic and operational procurement experience (3 + years)
• Strong working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Travel approximately 20% annually, to include internationally as needed.
