Serve as the primary HR point of contact, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives for all EagleBurgmann (2) & Connectors & Sealing Solutions (2) sites in Canada.
Administer and ensure compliance with company-wide HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
Stay updated on HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies.
Partner with leadership to support HR projects and business strategies.
Develop and implement local HR programs and policies to attract, retain, and develop employees.
Conduct training sessions to support employee development and engagement.
Provide performance management guidance, including coaching, career development, and disciplinary actions.
Address employee relations issues and work to build morale, productivity, and retention.
Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Conduct exit interviews and communicate findings to management for continuous improvement.
Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
Maintain HRIS records and ensure compliance with all reporting requirements.
Assist with benefits administration, including open enrollment, employee inquiries, and claims resolution.
Ensure the highest level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct in all HR functions.
Travel up to 25% to various site locations as needed.
Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
10+ years of HR experience, preferably in the oil and gas or manufacturing industries.
Strong working knowledge of ADP, Workday, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Strong understanding of business and management principles.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a global, matrixed team (including before and after-hours calls as necessary).
Must be able to commute and be on-site Monday through Friday (flexible work arrangements may be considered based on performance).
