The HR Business Partner role is responsible for applying business knowledge and human resources expertise by providing a wide range of HR support and advice. This includes, but not limited to, guidance on recruitment, terminations, performance management, employee relations and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and senior management

General Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the HR point of contact for assigned employees and managers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employees and management stakeholders.
  • Flexibly manage changes in HR processes and propose efficiency and optimization improvements.
  • Administers the internal personnel management software – "Workday," specifically handling the opening/closing of positions and providing consultations on creating position identification numbers.
  • Prepares reports, fills in standardized Excel templates and summaries daily. When necessary, consolidates them into presentations and presents them to the company's management.
  • Maintains an up-to-date database of job descriptions.
  • Provides salary recommendations aligned with C&B policy.
  • Organizes and administers the on-boarding and adaptation processes for new employees – organizing and conducting on-boarding presentations and gathering feedback from new hires.
  • Manages employee off-boarding processes – termination support, exit interviews, collecting feedback, and summarizing interview results.
  • Manage employee relations by fostering a positive work environment, resolving conflicts, ensuring policy compliance, and conducting internal verification to ensure organizational integrity.
  • Facilitates communication between employees and management through various HR initiatives.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of HR projects and initiatives.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • A university degree required (i.e., Bachelor’s degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Experience in human resources role – at least 3 years.
  • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation.
  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results.
  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
  • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers.
