Enphase is seeking a highly effective and driven Hardware Engineer to join our high performing Research and Development Centre located in Middleton, Christchurch.
You will be working in a team of engineers who are tasked to design, enhance and test the future generations of our power converter and energy storage product range.
Role/Duties:
- Work on new microinverter and other product developments and variants through the product lifecycle.
- Work with cross-functional teams of hardware, firmware, test automation, mechanical engineers, manufacturing engineers, and procurement.
- Specify, design, verify and debug circuits and firmware for our products.
- Assist product compliance engineers to achieve global certifications for our products.
- Create test plans and generate test reports.
Qualification and Previous Experience:
- Bachelor, Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience in industry
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience in designing and testing power, analogue or digital electronics.
- Real world experience in developing electronic products from the concept stage to market launch.
- Knowledge of circuit schematic, PCB layout and simulation tools.
- Practical experience in testing and debugging hardware using oscilloscopes, multi-meters, etc.
