MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Sales Manager System & Components to drive customer acquisition and accelerate Solar System and Component sales in Germany’s Residential and Commercial and Industrial (C&I) markets. In this role, you will help establish the company’s presence as a key solar systems supplier, reporting to the Commercial Director System & Components, Europe.

The ideal candidate has experience in system design and value-added selling in the PV and energy storage market, with strong technical and commercial expertise. A deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote bundled solar kits and system solution sales.
  • Engage with existing clients and prospects, build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and prospects in the Residential and C&I segments to align solutions with their needs.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue high-potential sales opportunities to contract closure to generate new business.
  • Deliver the commercial and technical proposals, collaborating with other departments for offering and execution. 
  • Take full responsibility for achieving set sales targets for volume, revenue, and gross margin by expanding existing accounts and acquiring new customers.
  • Provide guidance and support on system design, product compatibility, and performance optimization. 
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and team members, including supply chain, operations, product support. 
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth supply, delivery, and payment processes.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and industry developments, including service offerings and component solutions.
  • Represent the company at industry events to enhance brand visibility and attract new business.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and forecasts using CRM tools.

  • Strong sales skills, from developing and executing effective strategies, presenting comprehensive sales proposals, negotiating complex contracts, to closing deals.

  • Strong communication and persuasion skills, with the ability to actively listen, understand customer needs, and effectively address objections.

  • Willingness and ability to travel.
  • Highly self-motivated, persistent and goal-oriented, combined with a strong hunting mentality.
LANGUAGES
  • Fluency in German and English; any other European language would be a plus
LOCATION
  • Germany (remote)
Your backpack is filled with
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
  • Several years of B2B sales experience in the downstream sector of the PV industry specializing in PV components, specifically modules and complete system solutions.
  • Strong technical knowledge of PV components (modules, inverters, mounting systems, cabling, and switches).
  • Expertise in system design principles and installation best practices for residential and C&I projects.
  • Experience with value selling and account penetration strategies.
  • Understanding of key market players and their respective interests.
  • High proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
