The Operations Manager is responsible for directing operations with full management for production, facility, equipment maintenance, quality and safety. This position will be fully responsible for maintaining production to achieve budgeted volumes and quality standards.

General Responsibilities
• Manage quality strategies collectively with site leadership team to achieve short and long term objectives. Provide leadership in execution through a structured approach
• Manage day to day manufacturing operations including activities with material management and production scheduling to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner
• Manage resources to meet organizational objectives
• Lead and motivate individuals and teams to achieve breakthrough improvements at all levels in the organization
• Provide a safe and conducive working environment that promotes creativity and innovation
• Leads activities with management team to implement cost effective systems of control
• Support organizational environmental, health and safety goals and lead effort in manufacturing

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
• Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
