Senior Requirements Analysis Engineer

What You Will Do

The Lead Requirement Engineer will be responsible for capturing, analyzing, and documenting product/system requirements for various projects. This role will execute key phases of the requirement engineering process, including selecting, implementing, and configuring tools to support these processes. The role demands a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and effective communication ability.

How You Will Do It

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop detailed technical specifications, including functional, non-functional, and system architecture requirements.

  • Maintain and update the requirement traceability matrix to ensure alignment across all project phases.

  • Participate in design reviews, testing, and validation to ensure systems meet defined requirements.

  • Identify potential risks and issues, conduct risk assessments, and propose mitigation strategies.

  • Manage changes to product/system requirements, update documentation, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

  • Select, implement, and configure tools to support the requirement engineering process.

  • Analyze current processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements to streamline workflows.

  • Mentor team members in requirement analysis and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.

What We Look For

Required:

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering or Science; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years in design or requirement engineering roles.

  • Proficiency in coding (Python, R, or MATLAB) and experience with tools like JAMA, DOORS, or JIRA.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; detail-oriented and team-focused.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with A-SPICE, ISO 26262, and battery systems (Li-ion or lead-acid).

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and matrix organizations.

  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management practices.
