Technology Analyst

Job objectives:

Performing technological / process / engineering and design works as well as technical supervision over activities ensuring the correct consumption of raw materials and utilities in manufacturing process, controlling of implementation new technologies and materials. 

Task and Accountabilities:

•    Designing and preparation of production/technological process documentation;
•    Designing of technological processes / drawings of parts using CAD softwares;
•    Designing and preparing technical documentation of tools, spare parts and subassemblies of technological equipment, working instruction and procedures in working places of production, maintenance departments according to company policies;
•    Preparation of technical documentation for regeneration of stamping tooling;
•    Cooperating with Tooling and Chemical Sections for better efficiency of the production line and lower raw material consumption;
•    Supervision over the performance of spare parts / ceramic tools / washer nozzles / LSM nozzles / stamping and ironing tools;
•    Responsible for consumption rate of raw materials according to technology process norms;
•    Communicating with R&D department for implementation of new raw materials / tools / technology / chemicals etc;
•    Supervising and updating technical / process documentation of machines and devices;
•    Planning and supervision over the implementation of the review works/raw materials/technology;
•    Support and supervision in the process of removing faults and failures;
•    Responsible for the optimization of utilities consumption: electricity, gas and water;
•    Responsible for analyzing and statistic control of raw material consumption (aluminum, lacquers, stamping and ironing tools, paints, printing plates, water, chemicals, etc.);
•    Communicate with raw materials supplier regarding new materials implementation, claims and remarks on quality of materials, new technology, new tools, know how;
•    Gather statistic information from Chemical and Toolroom section for analyze consumption in the process and control it on reasonable level and KPI;
•    Control the canmaking (metal forming) process for ceramic tooling wear off level analyze and punches damage;
•    Support the implementation of tasks resulting from the implemented practices of the WCM, ISO, HACCP system.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
  • Experience with Lead teams in new projects and implementation of best practices and Skills to conduct training.
  • Must have experience in lean manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma.
  • MS Office (Excel mainly), SAP or TOTVS, CAD software (Autocad, Inventor, SolidWorks, Mechanical Desktop, Catia).
  • English Advanced - C1 and Native Portuguese.
