At Eternal Sun we build high-end solar simulators that make sunlight and perform precise measurements of solar panels. Our simulators are used by the world’s biggest solar panel producers and leading R&D labs to assure the quality of their panels. We make sure they can be sure about what they produce and develop. With our precision, innovative mindset, and determination, we make a significant impact in the energy transition.

 

Solar is growing, so we are growing. Over the past decade, we have grown to 65 FTE. At Eternal Sun, team members can enjoy operational freedom and flexibility but always in close cooperation with the rest of the team. Solar will soon be the cheapest source of energy globally and thus Eternal Sun is heavily investing in the renewable inspection and testing market. To further increase their market share in this area, we are looking for a Business Development Manager.

You will be the main point of contact for existing relationships, yet the emphasis will be on identifying prospects and developing new propositions to further grow the business. Your clients are companies developing large solar assets purchasing large volumes of solar panels. Eternal Sun has the in-house expertise to guide the entire process, in the area of Quality Assurance and Quality Control.

Eternal Sun is therefore looking for a solid sales developer with strong skills in sales account management and exploring new opportunities and propositions to grow the company.

In this role, you will travel regularly within Western Europe. Eternal Sun’s sales team consists of seven people. Marketing focuses on filling the sales funnel, after which the sales department qualifies the opportunity, develops solutions, and closes deals.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Representing Eternal Sun at industry events, conferences, delivering engaging presentations

  • Networking and building strong relationships with industry professionals, customers, and stakeholders

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities and generating high-quality leads
