Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and implement best practices for data capture and analysis to ensure high-quality testing outcomes. 
  • Design and automate advanced testing stages for Level 3 Charging Systems, ranging from component-level too full-system validation. 
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and suppliers to design experiments and ensure proper data collection from validation test cases. 
Required Skills & Experience: 
  • 3+ years of experience leading a Hardware test and development team. 
  • Expertise in environmental test setup, execution, and error-proofing. 
  • Proficiency with instrumentation such as thermocouples, RTDs, strain gauges, accelerometers, pressure gauges, and flow meters. 
  • Hands-on experience in hardware and software testing at both component and system levels. 
  • Familiarity with electronics test equipment, including power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, function generators, and data acquisition systems. 
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, or other programming languages for test automation, data analysis, and visualization. 
  • Strong understanding of hardware development life cycles, reliability testing, and compliance standards. 
  • Willingness to travel for test integration, commissioning, and training. 
  • Experience in test fixture design and equipment selection. 
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as MIL-STD-50G, UL 2202, and UL 50E. 
  • Experience with medium- and high-voltage systems (up to 1000VDC). 
  • Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN FD, SPI) and tools such as Vector. 
  • Proficiency in collaboration and requirements management tools (JIRA, Confluence, JAMA). 
  • Strong analytical mindset with hands-on troubleshooting, failure analysis, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document and present test results effectively. 
  • Experience in setting up and executing automated and manual test systems. 
  • Familiarity with automotive communication protocols SAEJ1772, DIN70121, ISO15118, CAN, Ethernet 
  • Experience with Vector hardware and software CANape, CANalyzer, etc. 
  • Experience with embedded Linux devices, flashing, interfacing, etc. 
The estimated salary range for this position is $135,000 USD to $155,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer discretionary target cash bonuses, restricted stock units (subject to Board Approval), and a comprehensive benefits package including health, life, and disability insurance, unbounded paid time off including parental leave, and a 401(k).
