<div> Job Details <div>Level:    Experienced</div> <div>Job Location:    After School Program River Center - Los Angeles, CA</div> <div>Position Type:    Part Time</div> <div>Education Level:    High School</div> <div>Salary Range:    $21.24 - $25.90 Hourly</div> </div>DescriptionOrganization SummaryThe LA Conservation Corps (the Corps) is a private, non-profit organization that has been helping at-risk young people develop themselves since 1986.  To date, more than 20,000 young people have participated in the Corps classes and service projects, learning new skills while contributing to the quality of life for all of us in the greater Los Angeles area. Mission The primary mission of the LA Conservation Corps is to provide at-risk young adults and school-aged youth with opportunities for success through job skills training, education and work experience with an emphasis on conservation and service projects that benefit the community. Position SummaryReporting to the Manager of Administrative Services, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing operational and clerical support to ensure fulfillment of the goals and objectives of the LA Corps After School Program.  The LA Corps After School Program is the lead agency for the LAUSD’s after school programs at twenty-three LAUSD elementary and middle schools. Essential Functions<ul><li>Maintains LAUSD Staff compliance Database and Spreadsheet.</li><li>Office and Storage Maintenance.</li><li>Keeping an inventory of office supplies and ordering new materials as needed.</li><li>Handles mail runs, including collecting, sorting, and delivering incoming and outgoing mail to appropriate departments or recipients.</li><li>Creates new hire packages.</li><li>Assists with assembling attendance records for data entry pickups and drop offs.</li><li>Maintains attendance and student filing storage and systems.</li><li>Maintains record collection files for required permanent documents. </li><li>Attends staff meetings when available.</li><li>Assists with social media postings, monthly newsletter, collection of program pictures. </li><li>Distribution of uniforms, tracking equipment and inventory.</li><li>Assists with the communication platforms to staff.</li><li>Maintains social media platforms.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul> Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contact a comprehensive listing of activities, duties and/or responsibilities that may be required of the employee for this job.
