Position Overview
This leadership position at Oshkosh Corporation鈥檚 Global Headquarters in Oshkosh, WI is focused on overseeing both safety and facilities management. The role combines responsibility for developing and maintaining comprehensive safety programs with oversight of facility operations, including maintenance, office relocations, space utilization, energy efficiency, and construction/project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety Management:
    • Serve as the safety management system coordinator and a lead auditor.
    • Risk identification and implementation of mitigation plans.
    • Assist in the development of strategic safety plans.
    • Shares safety best practices and lessons learned across the organization
    • Evaluate, implement, and improve loss prevention and safety programs.
    • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Oversee contractor safety programs.
  • Facilities Management:
    • Manage maintenance operations across all Oshkosh Corporate locations.
    • Direct projects including construction, office moves, and capital equipment reallocations.
    • Research and implement enhancements to optimize building systems and resource utilization.
    • Leadership of the total preventive maintenance program for the corporate locations
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Develop and manage capital, operational, and expense budgets.
    • Accountability of the facilities work order system.
    • Oversee vendor and contract management.
    • Maintain current knowledge of regulatory changes and implement necessary policy updates.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and develop multiple direct reports.
    • Act as a liaison between various departments as needed.
    • Builds relationships.

Qualifications

  • Basic:
    • Bachelor鈥檚 degree in safety science, industrial hygiene, facilities management, or a related field (or applicable certifications).
    • 5-10+ years of relevant experience in safety and/or facilities/maintenance.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience in a manufacturing setting.
    • Supervisory experience and strong leadership skills.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in areas such as plumbing, mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Preventative Maintenance Software.
    • Project management expertise (PMP certification is a plus).

Pay Range:

$102,800.00 - $176,800.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
