About the Role

Job Overview:

As Business Ops Manager, you will be supporting the Operations Team on a variety of important functions. This includes supporting our efforts in business development, investor relations, communications and community engagement. You will work to support and optimize operational processes across the Operations organization as we scale business efforts to accomplish our business milestones. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage quarterly ops planning sessions and regular operations team events 

  • Content support across all operational channels: commercial, investors, social media 

  • Assist with board meeting preparation

  • Oversee organization and delivery of investor materials

  • Assist with sourcing of new prospects for partnership opportunities  

  • Build out Company-run events calendar, leading execution on all fronts

  • Assist with industry monitoring including management of conference calendar, including execution around attendance and sponsorships

  • Manage company-wide operations announcements and material communication

  • Support public engagement work (e.g., marketing, location coordination)

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in consulting, banking, operations, sales, or a related field

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Strong ability to take direction and adapt quickly to new processes and tasks

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization

  • Proficient in CRM tools (HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Docs

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience in both large and small organizations

  • Experience working in industries such as: fusion, energy, aerospace, automotive or manufacturing

  • Experience working closely with PhD scientists and R&D technology organizations

Actual base salary offered will be determined by: experience, skills, and work location. This range is for base salary, our total compensation includes equity and benefits. We welcome you to apply even if your expectations are outside our listed range.
