Position Overview

We are seeking a BIM Technician with at least five (5) years of experience to support our engineering and design teams. This role will focus on developing and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) models for architectural and engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Revit and AutoCAD and be detail-oriented in executing design documentation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and maintain BIM models for architectural and engineering projects from Concept and Engineer鈥檚 redlines.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and coordinated BIM deliverables.
  • Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software to create detailed 3D models and construction documentation.
  • Assist in implementing BIM standards and best practices across projects.
  • Support coordination efforts between disciplines, including architecture, structural, MEP, and sustainability teams.
  • Troubleshoot BIM-related issues and provide technical support to project teams.
  • Participate in model reviews and clash detection processes.

Qualifications & Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in BIM modeling within an architectural, engineering, or construction firm.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Experience with HVAC, Hydronic, Plumbing, Electrical, and Technology systems, with a drive to learn new disciplines.
  • Effective Communication and Positive Feedback skills.
  • Understanding of industry-standard BIM processes, workflows, and model coordination.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of construction documentation and industry standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate鈥檚 or Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with sustainability modeling and performance analysis tools.
  • Experience with Navisworks, Dynamo, or other BIM-related software is a plus.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin. The anticipated salary range for this position is $52,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
