lead a talented team of engineers, ensuring the successful design, costing, and timely delivery of cutting-edge energy solutions. Your leadership will be key in optimising solar PV designs, crafting detailed system layouts, and ensuring the best value through strategic bidding and cost management. You’ll
collaborate closely with Business Development teams to create proposals that are both cost-effective and tailored to clients' needs while maintaining rigorous
regulatory compliance.You’ll oversee every detail of the
project lifecycle—from solar plant design to battery storage optimisation—ensuring each proposal is competitive and achieves maximum efficiency. You’ll also play a key role in managing supplier relationships, sourcing new technologies, and driving continuous innovation.

- Ensure the timely delivery of feasibilities and proposals to the Business Development Team
- Act as the main liaison between the Business Development Team and the Design & Costing Engineering team
- Lead the design of grid-connected solar photovoltaic plants and battery storage systems
- Oversee solar plant layout, single-line diagrams, shading analysis, and yield analysis
- Optimize system designs for efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness
- Conduct tariff analysis and client needs assessment to ensure project feasibility
- Perform detailed system design, including placement of components and cable calculations
- Prepare commercial bids, including technical plant descriptions, bill of materials, and costing
- Compile tender documents and provide financial feasibility calculations
- Ensure proposals meet budget targets and are competitive in the market
- Collaborate with the regulatory manager to ensure technical details for applications are completed on time
- Maintain project compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety guidelines
- Build relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing, and manage stock availability.
- Network with new and existing suppliers, ensuring sourcing of the best components and technologies
- Support Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities as needed
