Role overview
As Head of Communications for Business Area Generation, you will report to the Vice President Business & Corporate Communication and work closely with the Senior Vice President of Business Area Generation. You will be a key member of both the Business & Corporate Communication management team and the Business Area Generation management team, shaping and executing strategic communication efforts across the company.

We collaborate closely with Business Areas and Staff Functions, to empower employees and support business objectives Within Communications this work is carried out in close collaboration between the Brand, Media Relations, Public & Regulatory Affairs, and Business & Corporate Communication teams. Main Responsibilities
Develop and execute a communication plan for BA Generation in collaboration with the Business Area and communication experts from Media Relations, Brand, Public & Regulatory Affairs, and Project Management teams.
Act as a strategic advisor to the Senior Vice President and the BA Generation management team, providing both high-level counsel and hands-on support on all internal and external communication matters.
Plan and execute communication projects and activities to support BA Generation’s business objectives:
Internal communication: Enhance employee engagement and understanding of the business strategy and support transformation of BA Generation. Develop and implement internal communication formats and drive change communication.
External communication: Build awareness and understanding of BA Generation’s strategy, support business goals, and contribute to shaping favorable business and regulatory frameworks. Navigate a complex stakeholder and media landscape.
Contribute to group-wide communication projects, ensuring a consistent and integrated Vattenfall narrative.
Manage functional communication teams across various internal and external projects, working with colleagues in five markets in an international setting.
Oversee resources, budgeting, and performance tracking to ensure efficient and impactful communication, as well as streamlined and simplified ways of working.
