Position Summary
The Accounting & Controls Manager will be responsible for the integrity of the Accounting Information of the Company, prepared in accordance with US GAAP. Additionally, in charge of maintaining an adequate level of Internal Controls by driving the ICFR process (Internal Controls over Financial Reporting).
Essential Functions/Key Deliverables
· Be the reference for “best in class” Accounting & Controls practices for the CPUS operation
· Lead Book Closing routine (monthly, quarterly, annually) timely and with high quality
· Review and ensure account reconciliation routines
· Deliver all Group Financial Reporting requirements
· Enable the timely execution of External and Internal Audits
· Prepare and perform Accounts variance analysis to enable sound Financial Control of the Operation
· Update and publish all Accounting and Controls related policies for the Company
· Collaborate with the team for Cost Controls initiatives
· Lead the Internal Control over Financial Reporting initiatives for the Company
· Lead the timely physical inventory controls and cycle counts
· Participate in controlling the Company’s Fixed Assets.
· Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned reasonably corresponding with the role.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· At least seven or more years of professional experience, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
· Strong analytical skills, ability to draw conclusions from data.
· High level of proficiency with MS Excel required.
· Strong critical-thinking skills with a solution-oriented mindset. Ability to prioritize work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment and deliver results in a tight schedule.
· Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy and organization.
· Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Knowledge of SAP a plus.
· Ability to lead a highly qualified team.
