We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Acoustic Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Acoustic Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, conducting, and analyzing acoustic tests to ensure our vehicles meet the highest audio quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
· Design and develop acoustic test plans and procedures for product evaluation.
· Conduct acoustic tests to measure sound quality and acoustic performance across vehicle models and configurations.
· Set up and calibrate test equipment, including microphones, sound level meters, and other acoustic measurement tools.
· Perform acoustic measurements and analysis on prototypes and production models.
· Analyze test results, and present findings to internal teams and stakeholders.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product design, engineering, and quality, to ensure our vehicles meet the highest audio standards.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to acoustic performance and noise control.
· Maintain and improve testing equipment and laboratory conditions to ensure consistent and accurate results.
· Participate in the development of new testing methods, tools, and techniques to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related field is preferred.
· Proven experience (5 years) working as an Acoustic Test Engineer or in a similar role, with hands-on testing experience in acoustics or related areas.
· Strong knowledge of acoustic measurement techniques, instrumentation, and standards (e.g., IEC, ISO, ASTM).
· Proficient in the use of acoustic analysis software (e.g., MATLAB, Soundcheck, Klippel, or specialized acoustic tools).
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data.
· Familiarity with noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) testing.
· Strong attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
· Excellent communication skills to present findings and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
