As part of our wider collaboration and growth initiatives, we are currently seeking to appoint an Infrastructure Project Director based in Italy. This role will report into AECOM’s Strategy and Growth sector within Transportation and will work closely across all our European business lines.
AECOM has identified significant opportunities for growth in the major projects market and we are positioning ourselves for these. The role will focus on the pipeline of major projects and expand the teams’ delivery capability, and you will lead and manage the pursuit and delivery of large-scale projects working closely with clients such as construction companies and government agencies. There will be a specific focus on Italian client engagement (internal and external/well versed with Italian public procurement codes), managing pipelines and setting up major projects for success, and overseeing the delivery of these projects. You will be required to integrate capability from across AECOM to deliver large-scale projects on time and on budget. Your exceptional leadership skills will be instrumental in creating a collaborative, innovative, and proactive culture.
About You
Drawing on your design and major project delivery experience you will have a desire to lead and build a team servicing both major infrastructure projects and key clients. As a strong collaborator, you work well with teams at different levels, drawing on your leadership, client service, and technical experience. You will be able to manage multiple stakeholder inputs with competing priorities whilst maintaining relationships and progress.
Your knowledge of major infrastructure projects and programs will be important. You will be able to provide inspirational leadership and create an inclusive environment across a range of disciplines, having led delivery on major projects. You will have an ability to think strategically allowing you to make timely decisions and formulate delivery, recognising the overall direction of the project.
