Job Description

Remora is hiring an Adsorption Scientist II who will research and test new adsorbents and optimize current adsorption methods, all while helping to tackle the defining challenge of our time.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and test carbon capture adsorbents
  • Conduct bench-scale to large-scale adsorption experiments
  • Evaluate new materials for use in existing device/systems
  • Scale testing from bench to on-road
  • Optimize adsorption in existing device
  • Develop model to optimize mass transfer
  • Validate model through experiments
  • Confirm stable capacity across many cycles

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and 4+ years of relevant work experience OR 6+ years of relevant work experience
  • Technical and general communication skills
  • Familiar with relevant laboratory equipment and practices

  • Start date: by March 1, 2022
