Serve is looking for a Manufacturing Test Engineer to manage end to end module and system level responsibilities for the HW team. Successful candidates will have a proven capability for testing complex electromechanical components, strong organizational skills and experience writing test scripts. This role鈥痳equires someone who has a deep understanding of hardware test methodologies.
Responsibilities
Building advanced test platforms for robot module manufacturing and implementation of test strategies in collaboration with our contract manufacturers and vendors, and work internally across different functional groups, from Supply Chain Operations to Product Development
Develop of test algorithms, test scripts, data acquisition and measurement systems with focus on repeatability and reproducibility.
Perform failure analysis on electromechanical PCBAs, sub-modules, and robotic systems
Automate test processes using in-house developed test software and scripts
Manage the development of test fixtures and hardware requirements
Excellent understanding of electronics manufacturing and service requirements
Improve CM performance through iterative yield analysis and isolation of key failure manufacturing defects
Qualifications
B.S. or M.S. in Engineering or a combination of equivalent experience and education
7+ years of overall experience working electromechanical systems including:
3+ years of working directly with engineering teams developing manufacturing test..
3+ years of hardware development experience.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and cross-functional influencing skills
Experience working with contract manufacturers.
Experience in one or more of the following industries: automotive, medical, aerospace, robotics and consumer
Experience managing cross functional programs building processes and coordinating release schedules.
Strong english verbal and written communications skills
Have the ability to work independently and navigate ambiguous situations
