The Strategic Development Manager is responsible for delivery of new strategic business customers, through direct and TPI channels, as well as the delivery of the associated P&L. You will lead on strategic incoming tenders, and establish new leads through networking, promoting products, and existing relationships. You will develop and lead the strategic sales plan, engaging with key internal stakeholders to drive success.

You will be developing and leading strategic engagements and collaborations with influential industry associations. You will also adhere to performance and success metrics set by the business and regularly report customer success and challenges to executive teams.

    What skills/experience do I need to be successful?

    • Proven experience in successfully closing energy supply contracts with large I&C customers, including product selection, commercial/contractual negotiation, and onboarding;
    • Substantial experience of energy supplier operations;
    • Experience of promotion of B2B products or services;
    • Understanding of flexible power supply products and risk management of wholesale and non-commodity prices.
