JOB OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Manager, Strategy & Business Development Isotopes, the Business Development Analyst will utilize their experience to prepare, coordinate and issue market, competitor and financial evaluations of potential business development opportunities. S/he will participate in cross-functional teams with other business units to develop and assess business opportunities, be responsible for the management and administration of contracts and projects. Support the development and negotiation of commercial contracts with external representatives, consultants, sponsors, and internal LEP Laurentis team. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support the identification and assessment of new business opportunities for Laurentis.
- Assist in the development and negotiation of projects or services opportunities, with outside partners that will generate a profitable return to Laurentis. Assess and manage the risks associated with such projects.
- Work with other business units, and other divisions to ensure timely and effective assessment and execution of business development opportunities.
- Perform studies, investigations, analysis and the preparation of reports and recommendations related to business opportunities.
- Provide support and analysis for market assessments of services and technologies. Collect, analyze, report and present market and competitive intelligence information.
- Provide advice to project managers on issues that affect their projects using knowledge of isotopes industry and legislative/policy/regulatory framework.
- Support the development project-level and broader program-level business plans, including analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats (SWOT).
- Assist in the identification of partnership and joint venture opportunities, including Aboriginal partnerships, which may increase Company profitability.
- Support the preparation of Business Case Summaries and Memoranda for Senior Management.
- Assist with the writing of minor agreements, such as non-disclosure agreements and memoranda of understanding, and support the negotiation of those agreements with external counterparties.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking dynamic and results-driven professionals who have the following:
- Experience in assessment or implementation of various business development opportunities.
- Ability to develop market intelligence, predictions, plans, and strategies in the pursuit of business opportunities.
- Ability to communicate effectively, possess excellent oral and writing skills, and strong facilitation, negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to present information clearly and effectively.
- Sound judgment and a keen sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment. Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet objectives and targets
- Familiarity with nuclear and corporate functions, engineering services, and technical support in order to understand and articulate all stakeholder requirements. The following areas of knowledge or experience are considered an asset:
- Isotopes knowledge and/or experience will be considered an asset.
- Experience assisting with the development and negotiation of commercial agreements.
- Experience in cost management, including estimating costs and determining budgets and cost control.
- Familiarity with contract management policies and procedures to provide advice, and guidance to stakeholders.
- Ability to adequately disposition comments for other technical staff.
