The opportunity

As our HR Business Partner, you’ll report to the Head of HR and provide services across APAC, EMEA and the US. You will role model and uphold our company culture and values. You will support leaders, coaches, and employees throughout the employee lifecycle, building strong relationships to drive performance and engagement. This role involves hands-on HR operations management and partnering with leadership to achieve better business outcomes. As a change agent, you will help the business grow, taking ownership of the Performance Management, employee relations and the policies that shape our employee experience.

 

Responsibilities:

Global Business Partnering   

·       Build strategic partnerships with our leaders across the US, EMEA, and APAC regions to support business goals and initiatives

·       Lead on reorganisation activities empathetically ensuring compliance with local legislation

·       Support recruitment decisions, setting salaries and onboarding

·       Thoughtfully manage changes to employment

·       Support key milestones across the employee lifecycle

·       Act as our local and global benefits expert across all jurisdictions

·       Effectively utilise our suite of HRIS (Bamboo HR, Culture Amp, JustWorks & Cake)

·       Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for our employees in each region

·       Lead on LTI, STI planning and salary reviews globally

 

Global Employee Relations and Performance Management

·       Provide counsel and guidance on employee matters globally

·       Enhance manager capabilities through live coaching and embedding the program into their people manager toolkit

·       Support managers and team members to meet performance expectations


Global Policy Point of Contact

·       Review and contribute to policy updates using your experience and understanding of our people

·       Support managers in effectively addressing policy breaches and queries

·       Implement policy updates and ensure they are communicated and understood globally


What We Are Looking For:

Competency & Experience:

·       At least 7+ years of experience in an HR Generalist/Business Partnering role

·       Proven ability to navigate ER/IR matters, including workplace disputes, investigations, and risk management.

·       Experience managing poor performance and employee relations processes

·       Experience supporting reorganisations and reduction in force

·       Strong program management capability with experience designing, launching, and scaling people processes/programs

·       Strong analytical skills, with the ability to develop data-driven solutions and insights.

·       Strong facilitation skills and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels

·       Strong interpersonal and communication skills


Qualifications:

·       Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field


Highly Desirable:

·       Expertise in US labor standards, benefits administration, and compliance

·       Prior experience in a startup, scale-up, or professional services
