Job Description
We are looking for a new colleague who has renewable energy/ electrical engineering background, has relevant experience in asset management and /or O&M of solar projects and would be keen to take responsibility for the management of PV power plants within the Green Assets Division鈥檚 operating asset portfolio.
Main responsibilities:
- Oversee the asset management and O&M of solar (PV) power plants, ensuring efficient and safe energy generation
- Ensure the assets/ solar plants perform in accordance with the contractual obligations, defined KPIs and safety standards
- Prepare the budget forecasts for the O&M
- Optimise power generation ensuring reliability, safety and cost efficiency
- Internal and external stakeholder management, including management reporting and business update communications
- Monitor asset performance, take preventive and corrective action in accordance with technical and budget requirements
- Carry out failure analysis and provide technical assistance
- Analyse the power generation data and do root cause analysis (RCA) of the failure and take necessary decisions to find suitable solutions
- Provide information for weekly reports of the asset/plant performance
- Drive and ensure safety in carrying out the activities at project sites
- Understand the O&M contracts and various guarantee/warranty clause applicable to the equipment / system / services
- Ensure contractual obligations to various equipment supplier/ OEM/ service provider resulting risk free projects/ assets.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and take actions towards de-risking the assets in the long run of their operational life cycle
- Reduce unplanned downtime of the plant through proactive measures
- Monitor and supervise direct reports as per the good industry practices
- Project management of special projects (e.g. revamping, integration of new assets in the portfolio),
- The position would require occasional business trips within Europe.
