Your New Role

As a new Ramboll Consultant, you will be working closely with Project Managers and other Consultants on due diligence projects. You may also have the opportunity to be involved in environmental investigation/remediation, health and safety, sustainability, water and wastewater permitting and compliance, and industrial hygiene projects within our broad Environment and Health practice. This is an excellent career opportunity to work with an expert consulting team on challenging environmental projects for industrial, financial sector, commercial, and global clients. You will help deliver innovative, inspiring, and sustainable solutions that set new standards and make a genuine difference to our clients, the environment, and society.

As a new Environmental Due Diligence Consultant, you will be part of a dynamic team providing state-of-the-art scientific, technical, and strategic risk management assistance to an international client base. You will split your time between office-based work, including reviewing project-related materials and writing reports, and site visits (including some local/regional travel). A hybrid work schedule can be negotiated.

Depending on your areas of focus, your key tasks and responsibilities may include:

  • Environmental due diligence assessments for industrial and commercial merger & acquisition (M&A) transactions, including standard Phase I Environmental Site Assessments consistent with ASTM standards and custom reports tailored to client-specific needs.
  • Environmental, health and safety compliance reviews for industrial facilities, primarily (but not exclusively) in the Southeastern U.S.
  • Preparation of concise reports that assess potential environmental liabilities and compliance at manufacturing/commercial facilities.
  • General environmental compliance support to clients across a variety of regulatory program areas, including hazardous waste, wastewater/stormwater discharges, air emissions, chemical/spill prevention, and community right-to-know regulations.
  • Travel to industrial and commercial facilities for site visits (typically one day in duration), including both local and non-local travel.
  • Supporting multiple projects and meeting high quality standards on project deliverables.
  • Supporting management of tasks with minimal oversight from managers and colleagues.

Your new team

You will be part of our Environment & Health Division within the South Region. You will work with all levels of expertise, from entry-level team members to members with decades of experience, many of whom are subject matter experts in their fields. Each member of our team is part of a continual learning environment where they learn through coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job tasks.
