That’s why we make sure our customers have power, heating, and air conditioning when, where and for however long they need it.The purpose of the role:The Group Finance Manager will be responsible for the Group month end, quarter end, budget and year ends as well as building working relationships throughout the Group with great exposure to the Chief Financial Officer and Group Finance Director.This role is part of the Group Finance team based in Glasgow and is key to the delivery of the month end, quarter end, budget and year end numbers. It involves working with colleagues across the global Aggreko Group as well as the Group senior finance team.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Responsible for Group Month End process:<ul><li>production of Group Management accounts for distribution to Board and Executive Management Team.</li><li>consolidation of actuals and forecasts.</li><li>oversight of the accounting for the Group’s funding entities.</li><li>analytics for CEO, CFO &amp; GFD.</li></ul></li><li>Work closely with the Head of Group Reporting on the statutory close and quarter end reporting:<ul><li>prepare consolidated accounts and several disclosure notes ensuring compliance with completeness of disclosures.</li><li>provide analytic information on Group’s performance to support quarterly presentations to external investors.</li><li>act as main contact with respect to KPMG external audit fieldwork.</li></ul></li><li>Responsible for consolidating the budget numbers and producing the budget pack to be reviewed by the Group Planning Team.</li><li>Carry out analytical review on monthly numbers and ad hoc analysis as required.</li><li>Provide technical advice on accounting issues under IFRS.</li><li>Implement process improvements and drive efficiencies in reporting.</li></ul>What we’re looking for:<ul><li>Experienced Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) with Post qualification experience, preferably within industry.</li><li>Practical experience of consolidation packages (e.g. Hyperion, SAP, COGNOS, Tagetik etc.) from a user perspective.</li><li>Practical experience of foreign currency consolidation preferable.</li><li>Good financial accounting technical knowledge.</li><li>A team player who has the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation and who is challenging but tactful.</li><li>Ability to work to tight deadlines.</li></ul>Why join Aggreko?We welcome people from different backgrounds and cultures, and respect people’s unique skills, attitudes, and experiences.
