The ideal candidate has experience solving engineering challenges through code and can rapidly understand study requirements, define different modeling approaches, and deliver value-added analysis products to internal and external stakeholders.</p><p> </p><h2><strong><span>Responsibilities:</span></strong><span> </span></h2><ul><li>Develop models and simulations to evaluate subsystem, system, and system-of-systems performance for Epirus’ products </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, improve, and verify models </li><li>Perform engineering trade studies to define requirements for Epirus’ products </li><li>Evaluate capabilities of new systems and architectures to ensure cost, mission requirements, and operational effectiveness are properly traded </li><li>Develop, evaluate, and propose CONOPs  </li><li>Present analysis to both internal and external customers to drive impact</li></ul><h2> </h2><h2><strong><span>Basic Qualifications:</span></strong></h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or equivalent </li><li>2+ years relevant experience in modeling, simulation, statistics, or analysis for existing or proposed engineering solutions </li><li>Proficiency in one of the following: Python, C/C++ </li><li>Experience with AFSIM and/or distributed simulation standards (DIS, HLA, and/or TENA) </li><li>Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance</li></ul><h2> </h2><h2><span>Preferred Skills and Experience:</span></h2><ul><li>Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or equivalent </li><li>3+ years relevant experience in modeling and simulation, systems engineering, or similar </li><li>Experience with Design of Experiments and Monte Carlo simulation </li><li>Familiarity with RF systems (radar, comms, EW, etc.) and EO/IR systems </li><li>Experience with requirements development and analysis </li><li>Experience with Unreal Engine </li><li>Active U.S. Government issued DOD Secret Clearance or higher</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>ITAR REQUIREMENTS:</strong> </p><ul><li>To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
