GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Digital Media Coordinator is responsible for implementing online tools to promote the organization and boost engagement with stakeholders. Responsibilities include building digital campaigns and content creation for social media and other online marketing, ensuring that campaigns are released on time and remain effective for extended durations.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND WORKER CHARACTERISTICS:
JOB DUTIES in order of importance
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

Manages MWCD鈥檚 social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and other relevant platforms. Develops and manages the social media calendar in collaboration with marketing team. Develops and manages the planning, optimization and reporting of all paid social media campaigns.
Analyzes and prepares reports regarding audience information and demographics, and success of social media projects.
Creates dynamic written, graphic and video content to promote audience engagement and increase audience size on the organization鈥檚 sites. Works as part of a team to develop large social media campaigns; may assist with other marketing campaigns as assigned.

Assists marketing management, community engagement /public outreach and programming with large projects, events and community engagement activities.
Promotes MWCD and third-party events. Assists in writing and is responsible for distributing e-newsletters using Mailchimp. Creates, coordinates with other departments to obtain photos/video and manages online photography archive.
Assists with press releases and media communications as assigned.

Updates and creates content for MWCD website.
Assists with the development of promotional materials for programming and special events, including annual special event brochure.
Travels to various park and marina locations to take photos and videos for use in future marketing campaigns for the MWCD Facebook accounts, Instagram accounts and other social media outlets.
Maintains required licensures and certification, if any.
Meets all job safety requirements and all applicable safety standards that pertain to essential functions.
Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:
Possession of a Bachelors Degree in related field; (2) or more years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a driver鈥檚 license valid State of Ohio and must be insurable by MWCD fleet insurance.
