BorgWarner PowerDriveSystems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Manufacturing Quality Engineer at the BorgWarner Changnyeong LLC.

Key Accountabilities:

• PPAP / ISIR approval for internal 4M & design change of Inverter.
• APQP activities for new launch project.
• Internal manufacturing process audit and monitoring the progress of improvement.
• Product audit and Improvement of nonconformities.
• Daily quality patrol for manufacturing line.
• Problem solving activities for internal quality issues
  • Immediately fix, Defects analysis and improvement action taken.
  • Root cause analysis via 6-sigma, Red-X, etc…
  • Report corrective action on time with 8D.
• Measurement support for analysis internal quality issues.
• SPC activities to maintain stable process quality.
• Change management (coordinator role) of major 4M & design changes.
• LLS(Lesson learn Sharing) activity through active communication with BW Suzhou & SGP plant and application our line.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; Electronic Engineering preferred and Mechanical engineering.
• Up to 5 years of professional experience or demonstrated expertise in engineering or manufacture of electrical / mechanical field
• Preferred qualifications for experienced candidates
• Knowledge of quality tool required, including Statistical Process Control (SPC), Process FMEA (PFMEA), Problem Solving (8D) and others.
• Outstanding English and communication ability working with related party smoothly.
• Excellent work ability to perform complex work environment effectively with customer, supplier, engineering, manufacturing across disciplines, geographies, cultures, etc.
• Strong leadership to lead CFT, project and others.
• Automotive/electronic industry experience preferred
• Manufacturing/ Customer quality experience preferred
• 6 Sigma (Green Belt) & Shainin/Red-X (Journeyman) certification preferred
