Technical Trainer

The salary range for this position is dependent on experience level ranging from $85,900 to $107,375.

Conducts ongoing evaluations to ensure effectiveness of training programs and recommends modifications as necessary for the NY Customer Service organization. Updates and conducts as necessary, routine and standardized training programs. Develops and conducts complex training programs and associated internal communications in response to organizational needs. May serve as a lead trainer to junior staff. Conducts quality monitoring of customer representatives. Maintains records of training activities and employee progress and monitors effectiveness of programs.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):

Administers, organizes, and conducts training and educational programs in connection with corporate and customer services initiatives that impact the CRC and/or regional customer service. May develop internal communications for customer service explaining policies and procedures and business initiatives. Conducts ongoing evaluations to ensure effectiveness of programs and recommends modifications as necessary. Reviews system generated reports to assure customer satisfaction and ensure adherence to customer service business practices. Updates routine and standardized training programs. May maintains records of training activities and employee progress and monitors effectiveness of programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum years of experience: 3+ years of experience in a relevant technical trade
  • Bachelor鈥檚 degree in engineering, instructional design, or other relevant area of study
  • Equivalent experience and education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completed apprentice program or other relevant trade qualifications.
  • Experience in safety related regulations such as OSHA and any potential state mandated regulations.
