As a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will support multiple projects in Active Chassis Systems, working with cross-functional teams across the company to meet vehicle and company program milestones. A background and interest in active chassis devices with high-pressure air, hydraulics, pumps, hoses, valves, and controls is required. You will work with engineers and suppliers to define timelines for deliverables, identify and escalate awareness of risks to develop mitigation plans, and clearly communicate progress to vehicle development management and the executive team. The TPM amplifies the efficacy of the engineering team and works to improve and minimize processes to get work done.
In this role, you will:
- Track hardware and firmware deliverables for Chassis subsystems to the Integrated Zoox Release Plan
- Develop schedules and roadmaps based on company milestones and ensure that projects remain on track
- Support the engineering team's issue resolution by removing roadblocks, prioritizing issues by severity, and ensuring quality documentation and communication with stakeholders
- Drive alignment with cross-functional teams of open deliverables and risks
- Proactively identify risks and drive mitigation efforts in collaboration with engineering teams
Qualifications
- BS or MS in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- At least 10 years of experience in engineering and/or engineering program management discipline for automotive or aerospace applications
- Familiarity with electrical and/or mechanical product development and manufacturing processes, and demonstrated delivery of components with engineering design and development partners
- Proven track record in managing complex cross-functional projects
- Proficient in tools required to manage complex projects (i.e. JIRA, Gantt charts, ERP, PLM)

Compensation
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $179,000 to $224,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
