You will leverage the powerful digital twins created with NavVis VLX and NavVis MLX as well as our cutting-edge visual positioning technology to create spatially aware user experiences for our manufacturing clients around the world. NavVis IVION Go is our mobile app for Android and iOS. It is the digital twin in your pocket and a portal that allows you to dive into rich digital data around you wherever you go. Join our exceptionally international and diverse team, and be surrounded by other fun and like-minded individuals, while also working at the forefront of technology, and building something that you can be proud of. If you have the drive to stay up-to-date on the latest advances in the Android ecosystem and modern software engineering of mobile apps, and at the same time are passionate about clean code and elegant software design, with an eagerness to develop using modern toolchains and processes, you might be the person we are looking for!  <h3>HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT</h3><ul><li style="font-size:12pt;line-height:1.5;">You will work on our mobile app NavVis IVION Go for Android. </li></ul><ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">You will take co-ownership of our entire Android codebase, toolchain, and development process. </li></ul><ul><li style="font-size:12pt;line-height:1.5;">You will collaborate closely with design, product management, and of course your fellow engineers (across Android, iOS, our C++ cross-platform codebase, and our Positioning as well as our IVION backend). </li></ul> <h3>WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE</h3><ul><li style="font-size:12pt;line-height:1.5;">At least 3 years of relevant work experience as an Android software engineer (working with Kotlin, Java experience would be a plus) </li></ul><ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Solid knowledge of common Android/Kotlin libraries Coroutines, Jetpack (compose, room, lifecycle, appcompat, livedata, ViewModel), Retrofit, Koin </li></ul><ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Hands-on experience with data structures, algorithms, and design patterns </li></ul><ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Practical understanding of Test and Behavior Driven Development (TDD/BDD) approaches in software development </li></ul><ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Previous experience in mobile app testing (JUnit, Espresso) and CI/CD (any of TeamCity, GitHub Actions or GitLab) </li></ul><ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Hands-on experience in handling the entire software development life cycle, including analysis, requirements, software design, code reviews, testing, and deployment </li></ul><ul><li style="font-size:12pt;line-height:1.5;">Previous experience with ARCore, C++/JNI, or in mobile-related multimedia libs or frameworks (OpenCV, MediaCodec API, OpenGL) will be a big plus! </li></ul> <h3>HOW WE WILL KNOW WE ARE A PERFECT MATCH</h3>Your recruiting partner for this role is Rina (she/her).
