Role Description
Form Energy is hiring a Staff Technology Program Manager to take on a pivotal role in the development of first in-kind battery technology. As part of the PMO (Program Management Office), you will drive & integrate our R&D & development workstreams with our engineering and manufacturing programs. You will partner with multiple functions across R&D, development, and engineering to accelerate the deployment of Form’s cutting edge technology to market. What you'll do:
Build & accelerate cohesive strategy and plans related to our R&D and technology readiness. Integrate to the overall product deployment program.
Assess and mitigate program risks based on development activities across research and development.
Manage and communicate schedules, risks, & priorities across multiple teams to ensure efficient alignment, coordination, and execution of Form’s highly cross-functional goals
Proactively identify and frame key decisions, risks, and work with stakeholders to develop decision-quality options; facilitate progress by ensuring appropriate scheduling, resourcing, and prioritization of engineering workflows
Contribute to program management systems and structures based on best-practices and your personal experience, to effectively integrate with and support Form Energy’s world-class technical team
Contribute to and execute on Form’s Research Development Process directly supporting the R&D teams.
Single accountable owner of Form’s phase gate product development system (updating and implementing).
Collaborate with Engineering leadership to construct and maintain product development plans, schedules, and trackers consistent with Form’s PDP
Insure all our product plan and assumption are rationalized with the high level system requirements
What you'll bring:
7+ years of experience in Technical / Engineering Program Management
Demonstrated experience in managing programs for R&D development of a large product and product complexity combining chemical, electrical hardware, software & mechanical components.
Ability to understand the big picture from a technical and schedule standpoint, background in engineering is a bonus
Strong ability to drive programs forward, remove roadblocks, and escalate any major risks or issues
Excellent communication and organizational skills and able to communicate at an Executive level
Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously
