Overview

 The principal role of the Sales Operations Associate to create and update opportunities for new and existing customers from our channel partners. Deal entry is the first step in our customer journey and the timeliness and accuracy this function is vital to our sales process.

In this role, you will be involved with the following:

  • Create new sales opportunities in Salesforce 
  • Create additional opportunities based on product selection 
  • Respond to requests that cannot be processed 
  • Update customer and deal information for existing opportunities 
  • Validate utility account information based on reference documents 
  • Understand utility switching rules to ensure start dates can be met 
  • Review exception queue to make corrections to opportunities

To be successful in this role, you are likely to have the following skills/experience:

  •  Previous experience with Data Entry 
  • MS Office, Outlook, Internet 
  • Previous experience using a CRM system i.e. Salesforce a plus
  • Knowledge of the Electricity Industry a plus
  • Great interpersonal, written, verbal and communication skills 
  • Time management 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Problem solving skills
