In a nutshell
As a Software Engineer, you will join a Scrum team of seven developers and testers, where your strong communication skills, team spirit, and collaborative mindset will be essential to your success. Your daily responsibilities will involve designing, developing, testing, building, automating deployments, documenting, and troubleshooting various functional and non-functional requirements for software applications and services.
How can you help us?
- You will ensure high-quality software development by writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices and team coding standards. Through active participation in code reviews, pair programming, and mob programming sessions, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of your team鈥檚 technical expertise. Additionally, you will focus on debugging and troubleshooting software issues, ensuring security, performance, and stability, while also implementing and integrating APIs, libraries, and services as required.
- Embracing an Agile mindset, you will work within the Scrum framework, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. You will also engage in Agile and DevOps methodologies such as Extreme Programming, CI/CD, and BDD. Your curiosity and enthusiasm for technology will drive you to stay up to date with emerging trends and best practices, helping you to continuously enhance your skills and contribute to the team鈥檚 overall innovation and success.
- Beyond development tasks, you will provide regular updates to the Team Manager, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals. You will quickly familiarize yourself with the Eurofins EurIS systems, starting with ComLIMS-Quotation, understanding its underlying concepts, models, and team workflows. As you gain deeper knowledge, you will focus on the most critical aspects of your assigned responsibilities. Additionally, your ability to build strong relationships with both IT and non-IT stakeholders will play a key role in fostering effective collaboration across teams.
