We are now looking for a  
 
Sales Manager Transactional Sales 
 
to join our team working for a better future. The preferred location for the position is in Aberdeen, UK.

 

What you will be doing  

 

As Sales Manager Transactional Sales  your work will focus on these responsibilities:  

 

  • Relationship management
    • Identify and develop relationships with potential customers, Active & prospect. 
    • Ensure that customer inquiry, orders and complaints are responded to in a prompt and satisfactory manner.  •    Maintain and further develop present assigned customer relationships. 
    • Maintain the CRM system, pipeline, customer visits & customer Satisfaction-CEM Surveys 
    • Manage stakeholders by building a good network (both internally and externally) of relationships with customers, influencers, and decision makers.
  • Sales
    • Develop, report, and assume accountability for sales and sold margin budget among assigned customers' accounts. 
    • Achieve targets for spare parts and Field service. 
    • Propose customer-specific sales target based on market outlook, identified opportunities, and strategy. 
    • Cooperate and coordinate sales activities for global or cross-country operating customers with responsible colleagues. 
    • Support and develop sales through systematic Customer contact scheduling, ensuring proactive calling. 
    • Support the RSM and equivalent peers within the Team in driving the right behaviour, and to help the teams recognise the need for identifying sales leads for upgrade projects and New Build opportunities. This collaborative working model means liaising with the respective Region team to follow to conclusion. 
    • Conducting contract negotiations 
    • Actively following up quotations
  • Administration
    • Create, maintain, and manage all customer visit reports and opportunities in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and Master data. 
    • Maintain accurate customer records among assigned customer accounts.
  • Communication
    • Collect and communicate market intelligence and competitor information
    • You will also be responsible for Financial Order intake, Margin and Market share on both a customer and region level providing customer satisfaction and strategic goals

 

What makes someone successful in this role?

 

Speed, and clear communication will be a key to success in you in this role You should operate with a mindset of urgency and communicate in line with a bias towards “transactional” rather than a “consultative” sell whilst meeting the needs and always validating the requirement of the customer.

 

Main requirements in this role are (You will shine in this role when):

 

  • Demonstrate developing and proven good track record of hands on and remote sales
  • Good knowledge of the regional market sectors and its drivers
  • Customer focused with service minded attitude along with sound commercial understanding
  • Performance and result orientated
  • Proficient in the use of CRM and ability to create targets and sales activity plans.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in written and spoken local language and English
  • Can demonstrate Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to showcase sound logic and reasoning for meeting customer’s needs.
  • Ability to recover and learn from mistakes and lost deals promptly towards course correction


In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 40%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.
