ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive candidate who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and is excited by the challenge of driving results. If you’re a self-starter with a passion for hunting new clients and selling innovative products, we want you to help us expand the reach of our unique data insights. WDL is currently looking for an experienced (Senior) Sales Executive (m/f/d) to join our team and make a real impact in connecting businesses with our cutting-edge solutions.
While our headquarters are based in Vienna, we are open to candidates from any European location on an international contract agreement. The role will require occasional travel, but in principle, you can work from anywhere within Europe.
THE CHALLENGE
- Identify and develop enterprise opportunities across selected key verticals
- Build a profile of target accounts and develop impactful, strategic sales plans
- Manage a small team of highly skilled sales agents and ensure their success
- Coordinate a high volume of engagements independently
- Continuously analyze and optimize ongoing partnerships based on KPIs
- Lead the expansion to promising new industry verticals and niche markets and create go-to-market strategies
- Report performance on a weekly basis and highlight current results as well as future opportunities
- Engage with Product, Insight and Tech teams to drive product strategy based on market-feedback
- Represent World Data Lab at conferences and across other relevant channels
YOUR PROFILE
Required: - At least 5+years of enterprise sales experience, selling digital data products to senior audiences/management-level executives
- Demonstrated track record of top performance in building strong relationships with clients and successful business development
- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
- Ability to operate in fast-paced environments and manage a high volume of engagements simultaneously without losing sight of the key priorities
- Excellent negotiation, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills as well as the ability to foster long-term relationships with our partners
- High level of problem-solving skills, structured thinking
- Fluency in English is essential
