Responsibilities:
- Implement actions from business plans and market strategies regarding global, regional and important local accounts
- Participate and lead product and service launches, incl. sales tools and marketing documents
- Develop and drive business with defined global accounts to obtain approvals, first fill business, recommendations and references
- Oversee management of relevant regional accounts
- Develop and implement pricing strategies for global and relevant regional accounts. Close cooperation with local sales management, GIT, GBT and GSS.
- Follow up on opportunities generated worldwide, promoting multiplication
- Analyze market information and monitor competitors
- Coordinate with the other GIT-Members of the relevant industry to ensure alignment
- Develop strong network and partnership with internal technical departments (RD, TC, production, Logistic, MCM)
- Initiate product benchmark tests, communicate the results, and convert them into selling arguments
- Participate in the design of new services and place them in the market
- Identify potential new markets/ applications for Klüber evaluate possibilities, and develop business
- Hold trainings, presentations, seminars and workshops for employees and customers
- Write and publish technical articles and documents
- Keep global team of the relevant industry updated about opportunities, using proper means of communication, including the Share Point platform
- Network, discuss, and agree on tasks and duties of allocated sales teams with Regional Sales Managers to ensure alignment of market development activities
- Drive to win big sales opportunities
- Supporting the Head of the GIT-C in the ad hoc (re)-allocation of (new) customers to segments during year course, setting the basis for pricing High Touch Customers
- Critical role in High Touch Customer teams as defined by Heads of Verticals with a clear operative pricing responsibility, providing relevant analysis, reporting and expertise for the customer-centric and efficient pricing, the OP and sales of High Touch Customers
Qualifications:
- Science degree (mechanical engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering) or equivalent skills acquired in several years of practice
- Preferably Master’s degree in Business
- High level of self-motivation and willingness to learn
- Experience in international sales and/ or marketing
- Experience in mechanical engineering, chemistry, tribology, lubrication systems, services
- Strong technical knowledge of lubricants and relevant applications
- Knowledge of relevant industry preferred
- English language mandatory, German and other languages are desirable
- Team player with excellent networking and communication skills
- Resilient profile, able to cope with stress and challenges
- Capable of working in a complex environment keeping a high motivation level
- Open to find and develop new applications for Klüber
- Business-minded personality with customer-oriented attitude and deep technical understanding of our products and customer applications
- Capable of interacting well with different hierarchy levels within Klüber and at customers
- Strategic thinking with a strong ambition to achieve set goals
- Persuasive, with willingness to lead a team in a matrix organization
- International and intercultural orientation
- Willingness to travel internationally (at least 25% of time)
